What Kaptivo is Most Looking Forward to at InfoComm 2019

It’s that time again. Infocomm, the largest audiovisual and integrated experience event in the US, kicks off next week at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.

The conference has signed on 1,000 exhibitors (186 UCC solution providers alone!) and expects around 44,000 AV manufacturers, dealers and audiovisual professionals to be in attendance.

Kaptivo will be among those attending!

What we’re most looking forward to is being with Lifesize in booth #3761 to catch a demo of their new 4K video conferencing system and to showcase Kaptivo in action with Lifesize Share’s wireless screen sharing solution.

But there’s also the Unified Communications and Collaboration (UCC) Pavilion, where we’ll see solutions for all kinds of cutting-edge videoconferencing and telepresence systems, remote worker technologies and so much more from exhibitors like Crestron, Intel Unite, Logitech, Poly and Zoom.

The show’s education track also looks promising, but since many of the seminars overlap, you won’t be able to go to each one. These are the among the UCC seminars we’re planning to attend:

The Future of Workspace Design (June 11, 1:30-3)
The Impact of AI and Machine Learning on the Future of UCC (June 12, 11:30-12:30)
Workplace Transformation Trends to Watch (June 12, 1-2)
Roundtable Discussion: The Huddle Room of the Future (June 12, 3-4)

We’re also excited to see that InfoComm’s Emerging Trends Day (June 11) is returning for its third year. The special day will assemble a number of analysts, integrators, end users, technologies and other subject matter experts to discuss the market forces that will shape the future of UCC and pro AV in general. Topics will include immersive audio and the demand for more flexible UCC systems.

Since it can’t be all education all the time, you can also find us at the opening reception networking event Tuesday night at the B.B. King’s Blues Club, Lafayette’s Music Room and Itta Bena in the Pointe Orlando entertainment and shopping center. (We’re sure to visit each one!)

But what Kaptivo is most looking forward to is the chance to get to know other AV and UCC professionals. Should you happen to cross paths with a Kaptivo rep at any point during the conference, be sure to say hello.

Hope to see you there!
